Federal Agricultural Research Center conducts research in the area of agriculture and related disciplines. The purpose of Federal Agricultural Research Center is to gain fundamental scientific knowledge in order to assist in political decision makings on nutrition, agriculture, forestry, and consumer protection. FAL deals presently with the Production of High-Quality Food, Competitive Agricultural Production, Protection of Natural Resources, Environmentally Compatible Agriculture, Renewable Resources, Development of Rural Areas, and Animal Welfare. Some of these research aspects will be the subjects of the scientific excursion of this conference.
